Welcome to our gîte La Mandelette
Take a break in Bouzy, a picturesque village of the Champagne region renowned for the excellence of its Grand Cru vineyards, just a few miles from Reims and Épernay, the capital of champagne.
Your hosts Mathilde and Jean-Luc are happy to welcome you to their authentic winemakers' house, in the centre of the village, at Champagne Alfred Tritant's.
You will be staying on the second floor, in a separate, renovated apartment with a stunning view of the southern slopes of Montagne de Reims.
But what is La Mandelette?
In the local dialect of Bouzy, it is a small wicker basket -sometimes made out of wood- which used to be used for the grape harvest.
Diminutive of 'mande', a French word synonymous with basket.

A 3-star gîte
Our gîte can accommodate 7 to 9 guests. It is classed as a 3-star furnished tourism apartment, guaranteeing prime comfort throughout your stay.
Our gîte has a mansard roof and consists of a living room and 3 separate bedrooms.
- The red room: 1 queen size bed (160x200 cm)
- The brown room: 1 queen size bed (160x200 cm) and 1 single bed (90x200 cm)
- The green room: 2 single beds (80x200 cm - can be pushed together to make a double)
- The living room has a sofa bed (queen size 160x200 cm)
- A kitchen area opening onto the living room
- 2 shower rooms
- 2 toilets

- Dishwasher, washing machine, microwave oven, oven and stove, fridge with a freezer compartment
